Enchanting Equipment
Enchanting an item up to +4 is reletively safe, however the item being enchanted will break if the enchant attempt fails. Broken equipment items are useless.
Weapons that are +5 to +20 gain glows. They go from light to heavy glows. Levels 5, 6, 7 are clear, 8, 9, 10 are blue, 11, 12 are purple, and 13 through 20 are red.
Disenchanting Equipment
It is possible to retrieve some cubes from broken and enchanted equipment. You do this by "reducing" or disenchanting the equipment.
To reduce you need a reducing toolset and a reducing cube of the appropriate rank. When you reduce a piece of equipment the equipment and the reducing cube are consumed. The toolset is not consumed. Reducing is done through the combination window like enchanting is done.
The number of cubes you get back from a reduction is based upon the enchant level of the item being reduced. You get roughly 1/2 of the cubes back. So a +4 will usually give 2 around cubes back.

ok so i get up to +4 everything is safe. now what happens if we go for +5 or higher is the items destroyed as in gone forever or just broken? And if broken how would we fix it?
Also is like +5 a high risk of breaking or so low its ok to take to the risk? I only ask b/c I remember in flyff unless it was really rare going for +4 I used a sprotect and it worked about 8 out out 10 ten times or so.

In what kind be warned? Successpossibility? OK, anything else needs to be hidden, a little bit discovering failure rate shall still be. Or you have here no money sink. And for clues is the forum.

it would be nice if improved quality (+1, +2...) items would drop, instead of just basic purchasable weapons.
it would also be nice if you could disenchant those items for cubes to use on the gear you're wearing.
it would be REALLY nice to know the success/fail rate.
