Pet won't gain EXP on Deva account?

I'm a level 31 Deva Cleric, and for some reason, none of my pets are gaining exp.

For example, I have a level 31 Siren. I've been grinding all day in a dungeon, but the exp bar has stayed the same. I switched to a different character and my pet gained exp from killing basic birds outside of horizon east.

Huh.

So, I switched back over to my Deva, summoned my Siren again, and killed the same monster but still, no exp. I switched pets, the same thing happened.

I've been playing the game for awhile now and have never come across something like this. Is it a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

Common sense? No, not really; has nothing to do with it. I haven't read this in the game guides anywhere.

But I think that explains it.
