kenta vs death tyrant p.atk

so, i heard kenta has alot p.atk because it specialibility than others pets available and can beat genie p.atk. is it true?

if so, since the dt also have ability to dd and nice p.atk, can S5 kenta can be stronger than a dt?

Even a S1 Kenta can come close to the DPS (not Patk) of a DT if geared well and full buffed since the staged skill from kenta is one of the if not the best of all staged skills. A s3 Kenta will eat up a DT damagewise.
But still DT is better cuz of the Unity/Buff since pets are almost Unity/Support slaves cuz the damage of pets are very low compare to character.

What do you guys think is a better combo for farming mobs (not bosses)? S1 DT and S1 WD or this S1 DT and S3 Kenta? After hearing your comment, the S3 Kenta sounds promising sense it will use the vit support + passive . Obviously on an SB.

And what about for boss soloing?

I question this because I love the spike damage a S1 WD gives, along with the debuffs it applies on it's skills. Low CD ensures a debuff on all mobs pretty much.

s5 Kenta will out DD a staged DT easily. Their stage skill is just amazing. Then again DT has the awakening for the user... but if you're looking at the damage the pet deals, the Kenta wins.

Also is cheaper to recharge.

Interesting. I just purchased an S3 Kenta after reading this thread. But it seems now my goal is to make a S5 Kenta .

I haven't looked into the staged skill but I am thinking Ruthless Gear all around with a Zealous 2h Axe for the higher, higher bosses. Probably crit power and vit stones too. This will be on an MB so the vit will help with health, pdef, and patk.

Any criticisms?

Depends on what buff's you have.
If you can get 50%+ crit ratio then use crit pow, if your using self buff's only then lose the crit pow and get more attack speed.

attack speed is worthless on a pet unless you can get to the next attack speed plateau with it. if your pet's crit ratio is low you are better off going for unrelenting + crit power mix (like unrelenting gear and crit power artifacts). the attack speed would only matter if you need it to hit a next plateau. if you can't hit the next plateau why bother...

pet have lower attack speed than players ( ofc but inc ase someone wouldn't have noticed ) so reaching higher plateau is much more likely on a staged kenta. And in is specific case, is skill benefits way mroe from att. speed than crit-ratio/power. But yeah once you reached a good pleateau it's probably a good idea to invest there.
