Waiting for an update on ticket # YDL-93363-323 and I wanted to send a e-mail to gala without submitting another ticket to tell them that I purchased a 90 day hv pass 5 days before I got hacked and now waiting for restore means this hv pass is going down the drain... apparently just replying to the ticket # email automatically gives you another ticket # so I don't know what to do now...

I feel your pain..

If they don't restore or email me with the updates I will spam the forums with the ticket #.

As a costumer we paid in their CS and we got hacked because their security sucks and now we have to wait for the unknown... what kind of $hitty business they're running

On fenrir, I've been seeing some of my things in shops. In particular there are two shops with the title "cheap" or "cheap & pets". It is suspicious because every time I visit, it is in the same spot with almost the same things, with the same prices, but its a different character usually one without a guild.
Some of the things that were in the shop that I think were mine:
lvl 123 golem
goryeo set
s3 lvl 152 salamander
+15 ruthless 1h axe

so if you were hacked and on fenrir, i suggest you look at these shops to see if your items are there. I would like to know if anyone else's stuff is sold in this shop.
The shop is located by the lak trader. The second shop is located on the crowded area in flea, kind of far away from the ah. I don't think i can give a name because then the post gets deleted.

What if the fact that these hacking incidents still keep happening is because the hackers and the programmers of the game itself who profit from sale of rupees somewhere else are one and the same???

it's more likely the game (And many asian made mmo's) are originally coded with the potential exploit/backdoor, a quasi-legitimate business front is always needed, eg: "the president" (..i like how you further make the connection with the phoney terrorists) the same thing happens with antivirus companies.. (hi to the snoops)

..that's the real world, it makes sense why people prefer to play these [gouda] games instead.

notice how the new & improved security measures didn't do squat? the whole process is being circumvented, there is someone or something on the inside, gala knows more than it lets on..

..meanwhile, enjoy your easter non-event and the buy-one-get-one-free-no-wait-get-one-50%-off sale, and keep gathering rupee and staging your pets for the hackers to one day get hold of, i know that's what i'm doing

on about 5 or 6 april i was hacked, from my alt they take "only" 154 s0 Genie, 154 s0 Angel, 153 s0 Naga, about 94~104 s3 BP, 90 s3 Yeti, 90 s3 Skelly, Full Ninja set, Poland deco cape and deco wings. Why i say "only" ? my other items (on alts and main) are still there, they dont take t2 summoner cs helm money, +4/+5 cards etc

I was hacked the same day as you, and ye it's normal now,

they only take T3+ pets, S3 or higher stage pets, Highly ench weapons/armor

they are quite picky though, don't take CS helm, +11 dev new bow etc... its only the big money items/pets, and belt pets that they took on my char.

Is it possible, that they can't reply to gmx-emails?

That wouldn't make sense. But this provider has also been mentioned by some Germans who got hacked and found their passwords changed by the hackers.

Is there a flaw in the GMX system?

Still, this alone cannot explain how the hackers sort out who has the money and items to steal, and how they do identify the account name.

My account was hacked early this morning. Question is, how did they know that I had that 550 mil in my account? Seems to me there's a program out there scanning for high $$ or something.

550M inst really much thats like $5 worth of items in the CS. Believe it random targets otherwise they would only target the really rich people. And most of them keep their pets and dosh

2 of my 3 step kids had their accts hacked. Got a s0 115 hawk a s0 115 RP and a 100 gimped e3 yeti. Also stripped 2 r4 chars of their dura gear left the r3 char alone as far as gear. I put all my stuff in wh and u better believe when its out I'm logged in on the forums and the email ready for whatever.

i was hacked a week ago or so and have just completed the survey they asked.

Luckily it is an alt account and i only lost 20 mil and wings. Something strange about it is that all my toons had low dura on them. its like they tried to play them or something. They also didnt take my 2Xs2 and S3 skells. which i thought was odd.

so far i am pretty pleased by the way they are handling it.

one thing that does bother me is the content of that survey.

They ask for ALL of your accounts and character names. As well as IP, city and country. Which i can see why it would be important information to have but considering all the talk about an inside man/ or weak security on their side made me type it up real slow fearing that i am giving them too much info that will make my other accounts vulnerable.

It is also written is a suspicious tune, which gives the impression that they dont trust us and assume that we are trying to scam them. They should rewrite it in more friendly tune.

its like, I was just hacked and they give me criticism over it. At least that is how i felt reading/ doing it.

I was hacked on 1/9/12 and am still waiting on restore. WHY are they restoring fresh hacks in less than a week but ignoring people that have been waiting for months? I have sent in inquires asking for an update once a month and still nothing... What did I do to get ignored for this long? How do I get their attention? Is there third party that can be contacted to get them to pay attention to me like a lawyer or the better business bureau? I just want my stuff back. Ticket ID: YTD-21742-513

Took 3 weeks, but I got my items returned this evening. All pets were at the level when I lost them, but names were set to a default and had to respec all of them. No compensation for name changes or even a 24 hr HV pass. I'm happy to have my stolen items back, but they could have at least compensated the creature name changes that I have very few left of.
