Pending time?

hi, today i bought 5000gpotatoes a couple of hours ago, the payment status is still "pending", i was wondering... i remember once buying the same amount gpotatoes with another account (also for the first time) and, at least how i remember it, the gpotatoes arrived after only half an hour. So...
Why does the pending time vary so much? just wondering ty.
(and yes i consider a couple of hours a big difference )

It was longer this time because you made the payment when we were not in the office. All payments made outside of our business hours dont get processed until after 9am PST.

Why isn't is stated clearly somewhere that you must wait until business hours to purchase them? I also purchased them several hours ago and have been sitting here waiting for them. Please explain this in an obvious place so a person doesn't start to feel like they have been cheated out of their money.

There is an email that goes out stating the length of time you have to wait, and there is a blurb in there as well that states when payments are processed.

Very true. When you purchase the gPotatos you do receive an email. Here it is:

Thank you for your generous contribution to the gPotato community.
Payment ID ########## was received on 7/18/2010 at 15:0:8 is presently in a pending status.
Please bear with us while your payment is processed.

Im sorry, I was not aware that it had changed. It used to state the waiting periods for suspended payments, and give a time frame if it was after business hours. We will have that added back on.

Mine have been "Pending" for the last 9 hours... And this is not the first time i have purchased gpots on this account...

Our records show that your payment was voided due to mismatched information between the payment source and gpotato account. In order to make a payment with the source used in the last attempt, you will need to fill out and submit a payment consent form so that the billing dept will know they have authorization to accept future payments.

I definitely ordered during the business hours (half 12 pst)
But its currently 11.45 the next day for me, and i still havent got them.
It still says pending.

This payment was placed on hold by Paypal. You will need to contact them directly. Also, whoever is making the payment for you will need to fill out a consent form before any payments can be approved.

i bought mine a almost a half hour ago and it still says pending and i bought mine during the time it says so i am not sure whats going on
