One compy can't connect, other can
I'm able to log on with my desktop, but my lappy can't connect to the index server. I ran the launcher bypass batch file workaround thingy, and got to the login screen. Then when I entered my toon's login info, it closed down and said I can't connect to the login server.
It was working fine just a couple of days ago and I haven't changed anything. I added the launcher and sframe to the AVG exceptions, did a hard reboot, made sure the work offline buttons weren't checked on my browsers, made sure my net connection is working... I'm out of ideas. Can anyone offer a suggestion?
Thanks!

Some common things you can look into...
1. Pando Media Booster not being removed from computer after installation.
a. Control Panel, Add Remove Programs, "Pando Media Booster", Select remove.
2. Internet explorer getting changed to use a proxy server for LAN.
a. Control Panel, Internet Options, Connections Tab, LAN Settings Button, Make sure that the box for use a proxy server for LAN connection is NOT checked.
3. Firewall both 3rd party and Windows.
a. Set exceptions for both.
4. Site being DNS cashed and then changing IP address dynamically.
a. At start menu Run, Type, command, to open a command prompt. Then type, ipconfig /flushdns.
5. Internet explorer settings for security too high.
6. Right click launcher shortcut and select to run as an administrator.
Check your firewall and security software settings and add exceptions for...
launcher.exe
and...
sframe.exe
The internet explorer proxy thing is very common.
If your bypass would not connect to the log in server you may be using the older log in server address.
Make sure you change the 173 address in the arguments to the newer auth_IP
C:\Rappelz\SFrame.exe /auth_ip:107.21.55.70 /locale:ASCII /country:US /cash /commercial_shop /rend
Change the directory depending on where you installed the game.

Thanks for the help, thundernikk. When I logged on the next day, the problem had fixed itself and I'd forgotten about this post. Sorry for not thanking you earlier. I updated my launcher bypass for the next time I need it, so the help did some good anyway.
