Pet Damage Calculator
Version 1.35 - updated 11/09/10

Version 1.34 additions:
+ Fixed a mistake in the sala skills.

Example Pet:
Step 1:

a) Equip the pet with weapon, armor, accessory, artifacts.
b) Type the white Strength, Dexterity, Agility, Intelligence, and Luck stats into the appropriate cells.
Step 2:

A) All secondary stats (P.Atk, M.Atk, Atkspd, Crit%, CritPwr) gained from soul stones or dura equipment needs to be placed here (blackbox). It will have to be totaled and added into the appropriate column.
B) The weapon rank, type, and enchantment level can be selected from the scroll down box.
Jewel enchantment can be any number and if the weapon isn't sharded, or isn't sharded for both just leave the cell(s) empty.
C) Artifacts can be selected from the scroll down menu. If the pet isn't staged to appropriate level they will not be included into the calculation.
Boost column tells the calculator whether or not to apply strength boost or intelligence boost.
Strength boost = Filled cell
Intelligence boost = 0 or blank
Step 3:

a) The pet stage can be selected from the scroll down menu.
b) The base% is the amount of time your pet is using basic attack for 1 hour.
Damage % is calculated based on the pet with the highest damage in the damage column.
c) The damage column can be toggled to display the different damage bonuses that staged pets gain.
d) Reference for level 115 pet stats.
Step 4:

Black Box:
Reference stats for max level buffs, and max level creature mastery.
Blue Box:User defined buff stats. Placing a zero into the cells is same as being unbuffed.
Red Box:
Mob P.Def and M.Def can be added to damage calculations.
Step 5:

Black Box:
This is the maximum number of times a pet can use the skill in a 1 hour play session.
Blue Box:
The number times that the pet uses the skill in a 1 hour play session. It should not be more than the maximum number displayed to the left. It can be the same, but realistically even auto skill is not 100% efficient.
Red Box:
If a skill applies a DOT or the skill is a DOT this is the number times it was successfully applied in a 1 hour play session. It can't be higher than the max and should not be higher than the actual number times the skill was used.
Green Box:
The number tics that are applied from a single DOT. It should be the average number tics, and will probably need to be a conservative guess.

Okay so not sure if im missing somethin here but....
Starting on the UI tab...
lets use sala as an example. Stage number.. my sala is stage 0 so that stays as a 0... then u have Stats. I let those alone cause yeah i trust ya. xD next is soul stone... i added 126 to the P.Atk column cause with a 2h mace + war armor i would have 3 rare patk stones (patk = 2.8*str) and each stone is 15 str and for the other colums in this section i put 0.
Next i changed the weapon rank to 6 and the + to 8. jewl i put 0 in cause i dont have a jewl and same for the Artifacts. (i put 0 in) boost and base% i left alone as well... so now i get to Damage.. it says Err:511
then i checked the Skills tab and couldn't really figure that page out.. if i had to edit anything or not. I didn't really understand the skills/hour and Max/Actual if i have the sala on Auto do i really want to change this? and then since sala has a DOT do i need to change anything in the DOT area?
Last tab is Tier DPS. its a blank graph.
I keep looking for a button or somethin fto "calculate" or somethin.. but yeah i dont think there is one..
what am i missing?

I will make a guide, and the stats I put in there are just for reference. I think they are from rad.
My guess is the error is from the enchantment column. It has to have both the " + " and the " 8 " without a space. e.g. "+8"

You don't want it lower than max, but I don't think even auto skills is 100% accurate with skill cast timing. This is more for the people that want to be as accurate as possible.

The graph auto updates everytime you change something. It was probably blank because it didn't like the enchantment cell for your salamander.

Would be even better if you could include the extra stats or in some cases, passives, that staged versions of pets get.

you forgot to put the joker in this.... 100 on all stats 30 on luck at evo3
also, what does the % at the end mean? i.e. I input the joker and the things I had in the kenta spot and she came out with 87.xx% with what I have.

% is the amount damage the pet does vs the pet that has the highest damage.
i.e. your 87.xx% means the pet does approximately 87% of the damage that the pet with 100% does.
FYI- It is impossible to add in a pet and get the correct calculation. By putting the Joker stats at the Kenta spot you are basically saying it has the exact same skill set as the Kenta.

How is it impossible if you change the stats to what the joker has in the black, put the bonus from soul stones in blue, change the weapon and what not in the red?
oh, and setting basic attack to 1 since it has no actives. if anything i would see it having a lower end % because of weapon passive unless that is just autocalculated at +14% p.atk regardless of weapon

Excuse me if this is a stupid question but I am a little confused on how the equations are working out these numbers.
I have been putting numbers in with the different types of pets, mainly the joker/kenta.
Now when I put all the stats in on the Joker with stones and what not with base% at 1 and I am getting 60% (100str, 179dex, 120agi, 100int, 30luck +9atk speed r6 +15 xbow)
Now, I go down to the kenta since he also has a +14% p.atk attack passive on weapon (I am putting xbow in the kenta slot as well), I input the same stats in the boxes as joker has with the base% at 1 and he has 85%.
The confusion I am having comes from where this extra 25% is coming from on kenta when they are both just auto attacking and have the exact same stats in every category and using the same weapon. I even put the +p.atk on joker that the kenta unity has and it only brought it up to 64.xx%

It's a really good idea, it seems to work well, and I appreciate all the work....but... The user Interface is kinda....bad. It's incredibly hard to know how to operate it.

You need to go to the skill page (second) set all the skills to zero.

If there is anything you need explained just make a post, but I do agree it isn't the most friendly. It is unfortunate my broken version of excel doesn't work to well with drop down boxes.
I will probably redo the quick guide and just do an example pet calculation.

I'm frustrated!!! I've been looking for this nice bar chart that someone did that showed how well each pet was at DD'ing. It had no DT on it and showed that the Genie was 100.00% at DD'ing, was it here? did it disappear? D:

I'm not sure if you are referring to the old one I had made during e6. It was pretty rough and I'm sure some of the equations were incorrect.
This one does have the DT and Joker, and 4 different bar graphs for you to oogle.
