This guide is great. I'm new to DPing and it's helped me understand it alot. Thanks so much for writing it.

This should be stickied.

Instead of sticky-ing all the guide threads, dantiell has made a list of official guides that is stickied. It also contains a link to this thread ;)

most of this is good, but upgradign to +6 is a very risky business, what if it breaks, all that work you put into it is for nothing. isn't +4 good enough?

Mega necro. IBL

For future reference, new guy, people don't post in threads that haven't had a post in over three months. But there is no way to know your current threat level against a mob.

Actually, 1 month is enough to be considered necroposting, thought he's WAY over that limit

No matter how many guides people write... or how good they are... because there are some noobs that either won't understand, or more likely not even bother to read. And this is why dungeon partying makes me do

That is true, even the best of clerics can't keep a bad party alive. Good DDs are very important in making a good party.

This thread is, by now, somewhat harmful. It contains advice for skills which no longer work how they used to, or which do not even exist anymore.

Then procede to Chip whichever character is tanking so they take additional damage from the monster. If this does not outright wipe the other party it will at least force them log out and reform and consider your warning a little more carefully.

Isn't causing someone to die by mobs and thus lose experience against the ToS?
