Excel Spreadsheet Atk Speed Calculator

Postby blueheaven67 » July 25th, 2011, 9:34 pm

Do to the new attack speed break point/plateau discoveries, I've made a fairly simple Excel Spread sheet which can help in determining what Equipment, Dura, Stones, Buffs, Unities, Belts, etc you will need in order to reach your target attack speed.

From my limited testing, the calculations so far have been "Dead on balls accurate".

I've found it very useful so far in perfecting my build; reaching the target speed with out going over and funneling the rest into things like Crit Rate and Crit Power.

If anyone knows of a less shaddy place I should upload this let me know. :!:

Taken from the Pet leveling/Char leveling+Crackers thread:

If you don't have Microsoft Excel, you can still use free alternative methods to use it, like Calc coming with the free OpenOffice, or online spreadsheets (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_online_spreadsheets).

Google Docs should work just fine.

Nice one! And here are atk.spd plateaus by elitexile.

So you may want to add those also in your excel so don't need to come all ways here and checks the actual atk.spd :)

Edit. I found one typo in your excel. It's not Wind Potion that gives atk.spd, it's Quick Potion :)

I have a excel sheet too for this. I've done some cross checks and we get exactly the same results. So i think calculations are right for both of us.

But to be honest i miss some fields in your sheet. I had to put alot of things in the additional fields.

For example i have on my sh:
- Agi from rings -> Additional Agi
- Agi from Ursa deco and deco cloak -> Additional Agi
- Attackspeed bonus from new weapons -> Additional Atk Spd
- Ergon Cratos Set boni -> Additional Atk Spd/Agi Incr %
- Wings -> Additional Agi Incr %

So you really need to know first what gives you a bonus and where to put it in. Alot of people don't know this all by intuition.

Another comment: I think you can hide the step to calculate Base Attackspeed, normally everyone is only interested in Final Attackspeed.

PS: I think SHs base Agi is 99, but im not sure.

Edit: Inspiring work, thanks for doing this. =)

Edit2: I can't thank you enough, if I hadn't seen this, I wouldn't have found enough motivation to finally build this: Attackspeed calc for Vokers. :)

Before Epic 7 pt2 base attack speed of a SH was 99, I guess now it is higher.

For an R5-R7 it would be good to know when to stop investing in attack speed for PVE purposes with champ mobs. Not always will you have CM buffs nor pieces.

With the new Epic 7 pt3, I wonder what will be the way to go. The styles get too modified
@#$%^ wrote:the only thing tank needs is a [gouda] load of hp and keep aggro.

Bigger problem is the lack of sense of timing and place (all classes). Knowing WHERE to run, WHAT to chip, WHEN to use/break crowd control determines the smoothness of a DP.

Nice work, thank you!

However, a question: I use legendary (is that the name on US-servers as well?) t2 gloves, which give additional 5% attackspeed. Where and how do I include this into the table? Would love to test the table to (maybe) improve my equip.

They are "Ancient" gloves on the US servers. You add it in the B32 slot, "Additional atkspeed incr %" and put 5% in it.

You can put the extra 5% in the second section in the field:

Additional Atk Speed Incr%:

I realize the spread sheet could use more specific fields for such things.

Also, I figured out why I had 100 agi as my base instead of 99. . .I was wearing my evet deco cloak which adds +1 to all stats. Doesn't have an affect on the final speed though. The base field is really there so you can mock around with stone setups easier without having to add them up yourself.

For melee characters, the next atkspeed plateau after 349 is at 502. For SH it's probably over 520 or something so yes, 460 is useless.

Add crit ratio or crit power, it's very beneficial as well.

I don't think it was meant to repeat exactly what rappelz client shows on your stat screen.

white = base + sum of additional bonuses
green = sum of % bonuses * ( base + sum of additional bonuses )
