It does increase both. It affect m.def, magic accuracy (making you hit more, dont fail so much) and Magic resistance (making other ppl fail more on you).

I know guide is a bit dated...but just a few comments:-

2h staff the only way to go. Energy Beat rocks if you need to dd. Never use anything else.

Int & Vit & Wis for rings/stones only. Wis only if your spells dont land.

Me I just max everything i can with int/m.atk, then Vit for the other stones. I only change if I start getting agro and may put vit rings on & yeti on belt.

As for pets Red & Blue Pixies are your priority. Raise one and belt the other and swap around as needed. Red for m.atk unity buff (DD or solo) & Blue for MP regen in DPs and extra healing if needed. Pretty sure they both have the same card stats (Int & m.atk). Pixies ranged pets which suits your Energy Beat which is ranged. Aim to get them both to lvl 40 1st (1st card stat), then 45 (unity buff), then 90 (2nd card buff), then 95 (next unity buff). Then personally just concentrate on the RP. The only other pet you may consider is a Yeti for your belt if you want some more def, but cause we are not a pet class it will be impossible to raise all 3. I have a lvl 40 Yeti. Maybe save some $ and buy a lvl 90 one but hey we all forking out for cards

Done. Just post if you think something should be updated and I'll look at it.

There are some things I'm not sure about - such as Kenta and Angel skills. I searched for them but couldn't really find anything... ~_~ I'm gonna have to ask my guildie and an angel owner on my server to see what exactly they get...

Oh wel thx for this guide
I am 79 soldier that does a bit of skil-spam so i relay like int wis and have an orc that needs int to have his skils on toggle all the time so i would say int buff does more DpS by farr , about the cards for healer i donated some rapid and healing to a dear friend and yes he does not run out if mana since he uses them and he was solo healing in most off the parties but we had huna or druid that is a nice ad .
Btw nice guide i think il start a Bish or Priest still to decide :D

About farming, what I find that is most efficient is using RP (or Angel) as pet. Then just use chip + Lvl 20 Energy Beat everytime. You will kill mobs in 1-2 hits, making grinding outside dungeon similar to DPing, in exp terms. Using Lvl 20 Energy Beat is only recommended for high lvl bishops cuz of mp regen (Like r5+ ish) As a priest I use lvl 20 myself :P I get same/more exp than dping and plus I get all the drops (if there are any  )

For the Buff part:
I always full buff my DP's members at the beginning, so that i can see what they used or not at next rebuffing (Except for sins that don't need much)

For the PvP part:
Healers in general are not a real pvp class, i tried it a lot, and still trying to find a solution. But we are able to do somethings in PvP.
The only rule is to save your Mps !
Bishops have some cool skills like Shining Buster / Snow Slide...
But they drain your Mps, so if you plan to try pvp, get Vit rings on, run as fast as you can (shout if you can ^^) and only use: Energy Beat / Earth Spear / Rock Pin / Frozen Snare (if you need to heal far from target).
In my opinion, the best skill to start a pvp is medium lvl Restoration ^_-

As i am a Shield + Staff User, i can use Divine Shield and it always helps.
