Which Class would be better for the purpose of buff's and healing
"Priest" OR "Bishop"

Till 150 is reached both of them function as the same buff wise.
After MC I would not say bishop is superior buffwise, since Oracle has quite a few unique buffs compared to cardinal:
dex/agi toggle
matk/patk toggle way better for the party than blessing of int or str
and
heaven and hell (see oracle discussion)

If you want to buff out of party, like use your healer as a buffslave and not in the party than indeed blessing of int and str of cardinal are better than of an oracle.

I think when you want to choose you should choose rather based on damage or support function. If you want to damage more, feel the power of dps, ... go cardinal. If you rather aim at support more, help your party members (and not yourself) to feel the power of dps than go oracle.

Funny, I get more M.atk with Oracle's M.atk toggle than my 16+5 buff card on BoI.

yeah the matk/patk toggles actually do give more (which nobody seems to realize) but you always have the idiots who buff the blessings and then you're stuck with crappy buffs. That and getting buffs will nerf your ability to solo.

the only exception is void mages, they get more M.atk based on a % of their MAX MP so the BoI ends up being better for them.

But I'm starting to love my Oracle now Their DoTs are sexy
