To the Rappelz Role Players.

Postby knightmair » July 25th, 2009, 6:39 am

This is to the Rappelz players that like to do a bit of Role Play for their Characters.

Here is the actual link to the new role play thread. So far its just on an introduction basis, but I will add more later. Send queries to this thread to keep the role play thread clean.

The Rappelz Role Play Thread
Chapter 1: Page 01
Chapter 2: Page 02
Chapter 3: Page 03. Battle!

I have seen many people in game and in forums playing their characters, in character. Some of you may have seen some of my work or seen me chat in character in forums and in game. As such I have spoken to a few of you about doing role play. I have set up a role play group before but due to suddenly getting dumped with a few jobs. Most requiring me to be away for weeks, 24 hours of the day, the role play group has not gone on ahead so I will not be doing that.
However the story that I was writing with it, is still going on. What I have decided to do is to collaborate with any role players that want to help write that story by including their own characters, the best ones will get main roles to themselves which a few making cameo roles. You may include your pets too, however there will be no Evo3 pets, except for a very few select characters, and most will start evo1.

Here is my character bio for one of my characters.

Knightmair.
Antagonist of the story. (I will yet one of you guys win the protagonists role.)
Job class: Warlock. Asura.
Pet: Siren - Name: Psyren
Skin Colour: Navy Blue.
Eyes: white.
Weapon: Contract with Mephisto. It emits a dark purple flame from its tip with black lightning striking down the staff.
Armour: R3 Asura Robe usually. It may not be strong, but he wears it for its look more than its power. He often switches to another robe when he gets into a serious fight, this robe contains a lot more powerful stones and so his power level increases dramatically when he wears it.

History:
Once a Knight, (by title, not job) fallen from grace after he had a rather profound epiphany. Why take over the world? After all, if once you have taken it over, it requires a lot of work to maintain and make sure that you yourself are able to keep control or just keep everyone happy. Even if you found some way to enforce mind control or tried to get everyone to worship you all, either A. The number of people are too great that you can not control them all and thus the few rebellions would ruin it all or B. Some would grow immune to mind control or would see a different opinion and thus a few rebellions would ruin it all.
All of this would mean exerting time and resources to crush rebellions only to have more sprout up, and you would have already had to deal with rebels in your attempt to take over the world.
So even if you could take over the world, it would be too much to deal with after.
So he realised, why not just destroy the world. Sure you would have issues along the way with rebels ect. but once completed, you would not have to worry about rebels, happiness or upkeep. Thus he decided destroying the world was a best way to deal with things.
However, some people who have heard of his reasoning have deemed him mad and tried to get rid of him.
Only a few have speculated that there may be something more to his motives.
Personaility:
Knightmair is an antagonist that is not interested in killing people in a battle. A fight is boring if the other person is dead. Instead he prefers to use the more flashy and disabling moves in his arsenal. He will use more powerful spells if he needs too but other than that he will use spells like weakness skin, fire field, windy shackles and his favorites, traps. He is both extremely intelligent and wise when it comes to magic. (Well, in his own way he is) Preferring to put his all into his magic rather than focus on defense and attack. His reasoning is, whats the use in increasing your defense when you got a whole arsenal of magic and debuffs to ensure you never get attack physically.

Psyren History:/ Story. (Got carried away) Feel free to write your own little stories. (Also be aware to make copies of your story as you write into word. I took so long writing that I was logged out of Rappelz and had to post again. Fortunately I copied into word so I just copied and pasted back into my post.

Psyren was once part of a colony of sirens, far out to sea between the main continent and trainee's island. Psyren was rejected by other sirens due to being one of the weaker sirens in the clan. Despite her age and wisdom she could never make it as the Siren Queen, often seeing other generations surpass her. The sirens lured men and their ships to their island where they would be smashed up by the rocks and the men and food used to sustain the clan and the survivors used to mate with before they themselves were used for food. She never got any of the men or food supplies due to being too weak to fight for her own food and often had to resort to catching fish and taking left over scraps to survive.
One night after a giant ship wreck, she waited behind the rocks, waiting for what was left. A man, almost as dark as the night, walked towards her from the wreck. The sirens that had noticed him, called to him, trying to lure him to them, but despite the power and the usually tempting voices failed. He ignored each and every call. When they realised that the man was not listening they grew angry and started to stalk him, planning to attack him at the right moment. The man kept walking, heading closer and closer to Psyren. He stopped, inches from her. She herself was so close that if she had taken the opportunity to, she could have struck him down before he had a chance to dodge.
The first thing she could think of was to try her seducing call. "Mew"
The man just smiled at her. "That was a little pathetic. Even for you" A sirens call is usually more musical and is not spoken like you just did.
But something about him felt, secure yet dark. He was here for her, he had chosen her, out of all the other Sirens on the island, regardless of all the calls, he had chosen her.
"So, what is your name?"
She replied "Mew".
"I think that translates into something like Psyren. Not quite like the others and yet the same. That's why you were given that name."
Psyren could feel something, she was unsure of this. She felt like she was safe, yet her head was spinning, as though she were ill.
"The other Sirens. They see the difference, they just don't understand it. But I can see it, the intelligence, the wisdom, and the power you could bestow upon me."
Psyren felt a little flushed, this man made her feel like she had never felt before, all by speaking and standing there.
"I can see them, all behind me. I know they are waiting for me."
Psyren looked around, surely enough, right there were almost one hundred Siren, standing on the rock, a few on the cliff above them. And the call, everything was silent, the singing, the chatting, eating. Even the birds and the sea had fallen silent. The Sirens were staring at him, no at them, many of them were looking upon her with envious eyes. Psyren, the odd one out had been the one to lure this man to her, without even trying.
"I see they also don't like you Psyren, they are all looking down you, it won't be long before they attack. I doubt I could take care of them all on my own."
Psyren could sense the lie in his voice. But not a lie meant to hurt, but one meant to comfort her. He was asking her to help him. Despite the power she could feel exuding from him.
"Don't think you are weak Psyren. You have the strength if you are willing to fight."
She stood there frozen, what strength could she possibly posses.
"I can give you a little help, if you feel you need it."
He raised his staff, the sirens edged back a bit as the staff glowed. She felt a light, cool breeze blow through her as fer hair fluttered behind her in this blissful breeze. She felt, lighter, like nothing was weighing down. As she opened her eyes she saw one of the sirens lunging at the dark figure. With lightning speed she swung around the man blocked the sirens approach, she could feel the lightness of the wind, allowing her to move faster. But despite blocking the sirens approach the siren was able to knock her down. They tumbled a short way before getting back on their feet. The siren was now focuses on her. The siren attacked but with Psyren's new found power, Psyren was the first to land a strike as she swung her head, the shells in her hair striking her opponent and leaving a nice deep scratch in her cheek. This did not stop her opponent who crashed into her, screaming at the top of her lungs. As Psyren got up she was able to land another strike but this speed was not enough. She needed to be stronger. Her opponent made for another attack, but then the attack stopped, the siren slowed, her eyes closing. She then crashed on the floor. Psyren watched as the other siren lay there, breathing slowly.
"How was that then Siren?" Asked the dark man. "That power, made you feel stronger. I have another power for you. Would you like me to bestow it upon you?"
She gave a little nod. The man raised his staff again, this time she felt heavy, everything was getting darker, she felt like she should be running but she trusted this man, he would not harm her. Then the cold darkness fell on her completely, it started to seep into her skin. There was a loud scream of fear as the darkness became a part of her. When the darkness cleared she was still standing, the screaming piercing her ears, but it was not her screaming, the siren, laying on the floor, her eyes closed was struggling, as if against an invisible opponent. What had the man done to her.
"She is dreaming." said the man.
This was no dream she thought, if anything the siren was having a nightmare.
"It won't be long before she wakes up. I suggest you try out your new power now."
She picked up the screaming siren by the hair and stood her up. The siren stopped screaming and reluctantly opened her eyes.
"Mew" came the feeble remark from the still traumatized siren.
Psyren felt the rage, the anger and the power flowing from the man, the dark might he had bestowed upon her. She took a step back and swung her hair. She struck the siren with a devastating blow. The shells leaving more than just scars. The siren fell, hard to the ground.
"I believe this is a victory for you Psyren."
She stared at the fallen siren, a sudden rush of fear yet, exhilaration. She was more powerful than before.
Another of the sirens jumped off the cliff and landed by the fallen siren. She put a hand to the fallen siren through for a while, then looked up and glared. The siren let out a harsh shrill scream, she could feel the emotion, the sorrow behind the scream affecting her, she wanted to cry but the man, he stood there, unaffected by the sorrow the grief, no, in fact he was enjoying it. The pain, the grief, it was not something to make you feel bad, it was pride he felt, and she could feel that pride well up inside of her, the pride of the power she now held. The strength to fell the other creatures that now seemed so weak.
She walked slowly to the man, all eyes, watching her, envying her. She was now the strongest, and nothing could stop her.
The man smilled more with those cold white eyes, staring through her, seeing more than anyone could ever see in her, his white eyes glimmered and in that instance she could see something, behind her, she then heard the footsteps, fast, charging towards her, the scream of hatred. She tilted her head back then flicked it back up, with out looking at her opponent, she felt the impact as the weapons in her hair knocked back the opponent.
And still he just smiled at her. The power of the darkness had made her stronger. Another siren lunged at the man. Although he knew he was being attacked, he did nothing. She held out a hand and grabbed the siren by the neck and threw her away as though she was nothing.
The other sirens began to scream, anger, hate, attack. She could feel all those emotions in their cries as they leaped off rock faces and charged. This time the man moved, he swung his staff over both of them as fire spewed out of his staff and enveloped them. She looked at hands, the fire went through them, through both their bodies, without harming them yet the sirens, the ones that were attacking, were now screaming as the fire burned their bodies. The screams were now that of pain, this pain, instead of making her feel bad, was making her feel more powerful as she relished in the warmth of the fire.
The fire died down and yet more sirens were still attacking, stepping on and over the charred corpses of their clan. The man threw fireballs wildly into the mass, blowing them back. They were getting closer, within striking distance, but she could not strike them all, but she had other skills, and it was these skills that the man had wanted, why he had chosen her, he knew of the power in herself that she had not seen, unlocked now my the magic she had cast upon her. She took a deep breath and let out an ear piercing scream.
The sirens suddenly scattered, clutching their heads as the scream screwed up their balance, their vision. They could not focus clearly enough as they tried to attack, feebly, not really knowing what they were doing.
"I knew there was a reason I liked you." said the man.
She turned to his back and faced the opposite direction to where he was facing in order to protect him. As she stepped closer, she touched him. She felt a new power, not from him this time but from their unity of being together, they were now connected, and all of a sudden it was as though everything was clearer, she could focus, see everything. Every little detail, every weakness, and she could target each of them, with more devastating blows.
"Now this I did not expect." He said. He held his hand out and from it a ball of fire erupted. He turned his hand slowly as he focused on his target. He then lunged the fireball. Not haphazardly as he had done before but at one target, he hit with deadly accuracy striking the siren down. "I think I like this, maybe now I have what I need to carry out what I need to do." He looked up to the sky. "Now usually when I do this, it messes up and I miss, but maybe." The clouds above them grew dark and came together into one giant swirling cloud. "I like where this is going" The cloud started to spark and then there was a huge crash. Lightning rained down from the heavens, striking each and every siren that surrounded them. As light faded, she saw the devastation. Those that were still alive were paralyzed, unable to move and there, just outside the ring of devastation stood, tall, proud and beautiful, the Siren Queen.
"Mew" Cried the queen. Her voice was as beautiful as the moonlit sea. She felt the darkness fading away, the sorrow in the queens voice.
"Let me deal with her." The man took a step foreward, but the queens voice, she could not deny it. She grabbed the mans hand.
"Mew!" Cried Psyren.
The man looked down on her. "You can not leave if she still controls you."
Psyren suddenly realised she was weak again. She could not stand up to the power of the queen or the man. "Mew"
"No Psyren, if you truly think of yourself as weak, then you will be weak. And if you are weak, then I have no use for you."
She could not let him leave her, she had to be strong. She leapt out in front of the man, arms out to stop him.
The man smiled at her. "There's no need."
She did not listen, she had to prove herself to him again. She turned to the queen and let out a harsh high pitched scream like before.
The Queen just stood there, hair blowing beautifully in the wind. The Queen stared unamused. The Queen then took a deep breath and gave her own beautiful song. The song, despite its beauty was more than it seemed. Psyren felt sluggish, the song, eating away at her soul, slowly. She felt weak and powerless. Psyren gave out another scream, even more powerful than before but the Queen stood there, unbaffeled by the harsh song.
The man stood in front of Psyren. "Stop this now, I am not here to fight anymore, I just want her."
The Queen stopped singing and stared at the man, he chin high, looking down on the man as though he were nothing. "Mew" she said.
"I would not try fighting me as you will surely loose my Queen, we don't need any more blood spilled."
"Mew" cried the queen.
"Revenge is but a pitiful excuse to try and pick a fight with me Queen. You have already seen what I can do and I can do more still."
"Mew"
The man let out a laugh. "No, it is not I who have underestimated you, but you that has underestimated me."
The queen began her own charge. Her attack was so elegant and beautiful, the power of the siren Queen striking at the man.
"Shackle to the ground, the chains made from the very air you breath, you are slow, My Queen"
The air around the queen grew thicker, as if crystallising and forming chains which grabbed her arms, her legs and held her head back as she tried to strike the man down. Then the darkness started to enshroud the man, different from the one he used on her. The sirens strike was stressing the almost invisible chains that bound her.
"You can't hit me." The strike was inches from his face and then, with lightning fast movement, he dodged. He moved and was now standing behind her. She took another strike, this time some of the chains broke. She threw a faster strike at him. Psyren yelped as the hit swipped, and missed. The man had dodged again.
"You really are pathetic." He stamped his staff on the ground, purple flames erupted from it. Then, nothing happened. The man took a step back.
"Mew" screamed the Queen.
"Wrong" said the man. You have already lost.
The Queen charged again and then suddenly screamed. The Queens face grew white and her eyes stared, fearfully at the man. The Queen scrambled backwards, trying to get away from the man.
"Do you see it now, the reason why you had no chance in Hell of defeating me. I am Knightmair! I am the Warlock that will bring this world to its knees before its ultimate destruction. I tried to warn you but you did not listen. I have no need to kill you, but I will make you suffer."
The Queen screamed again, tripping as she tried to get away. Shaking uncontrollably she fell to the ground in front of Psyren. She looked up at Psyren, eyes steaming with tears, her voice, quivering and fearful. The respect that Psyren would normally feel had gone. Instead she looked down on her queen with disgust. The Queen wrapped her arms around Psyren trying to gain some comfort from her. Psyren could feel the darkness flowing back into her as she looked at this pitiful excuse for a queen. She embraced the Queen warmly, but her hart was not feeling the same way. While the Queen lay sobbing in Psyrens arms Psyren began to wrap her hair around the Queens throat. Her grip tightened, the Queen began to clutch at her own throat, trying to rip the hair off, but the grip only got tighter. The Queen tried grasping for air, but she could not breath. Then there was a snap. The Queen fell limp, her eyes, wide and bloodshot staring right into Psyren as if to ask, why? The stare disturbed Psyren greatly. What had she done? Why? The man had said there was no need to kill, but she had done so anyway.
"That was good Psyren." Knightmair held out his hand. You did just as I wanted you to do. Let us leave now, the other sirens will not bother you any more.
She took his hand and followed him. This man, her savior, she would follow him to the End of the World.

Second Character.
This wont be a main character, but will have a few cameo roles.

Name: The Dragoon
Jobclass: Evoker
Pet: Blue Pixie, Red Pixie.
Eyes: Brown
Weapon: Dual Axes

History.
His name The Dragoon, was given to him after he battled against a great White Dragon. He won when he transformed into an identical white dragon, a feat never before seen in written history. He became famous for his phenomenal transformation however when asked to make the transformation again, he was unable to. His popularity soon decreased and rumors began to spread that the transformation may not have been legitimate and has become somewhat of a laughing stock, the fact that he had saved the town of horizon never considered, just the fact that he was a liar and a prankster.
The Dragoon decided to keep his new name, despite it being tainted because it reminds him that he does have that power deep down, somewhere.

Personality.
The Dragoon likes to transform into other creatures that he sees, it makes him feel more powerful. However some people have begun to notice that some of his favorite transformation involve the feminine style pet. Mainly Pixies and Sirens and will often transform unnecessarily during his free time or into an inappropriate form during fights. When the dragoon transform he often finds himself naked when he transforms back, often causing a stir amount his fellow party members who think he is doing this deliberately as some joke.

I used to be part of FlyFF's role-playing guild Circle of Fate. Most of the guild's major members eventually left due to real life issues, but I simply drifted over to Rappelz. I use six characters on Tanda Server. I'll go ahead and post all their profiles, even if I don't use them all in this thing. Since you put restrictions on pet evolutions, I'll have to modify the profiles I've spent all day making, but I think I can still fix them up to work. I assume no one can be higher than Rank Four? If so, I think I can modify the profiles. I've almost finished them, so doing touch-ups won't take long.

So, everyone is R4 or lower, and other than main characters, everyone's pets are evo2 at the most. Is that about right?

You can change profiles, they don't have to be accurate to the stage your character is now. Though I don't want everyone saying, ooohhh, I'm R7, unless they actually have a R7 character. Though to be honest, there aren't ranks as such here, though some people will be more powerful. But more powerful people will get smaller roles. Like I would be interested if a R7 did post, then they could take on a role of some powerful, famous warrior ect.

For example. Jinch, though being R5 in game, won't be classed as R5 in story, it will all be down to how the story goes and what it requires.
I will be feeding back parts to do with your characters so you can say, yes this is just what my character would do or I would do this.
I will be writing up an initial story (Like a draft) that you guys get to tweak or even change outcomes if it works better. You can even give me suggestions on what can happen next, or things you would like to happen in the story. I felt people would like to have a creative role in the process.
You will all be allowed to write your own mini stories if you wish. For example I would finish of the Psyren story separately to the main story unless I actually find a way to put Psyrens story into the main story.
So you can also let your character do their own thing.

The main reason for having the character profiles is so that I and other people can look at your characters and see how they would work with each other, write their own stories. Though I want people feeding back to other characters so that the character can say if what they have done is right or not. So like a collaborative story telling.

So if I was to write an encounter between Dragoon and Jin, I would show Jin what I had done with his bits and if I had done something with Jin that was uncharacteristic he could say, no would not happen like this, probably more like ect.

Tell me what you think on this.

Also I will be restricting pets if there are too many of a certain type or if everyone says angel, kenta, hawkman. These pets will be restricted to powerful characters who will likely only have a few main roles as the story progresses.

Interesting... I like it. Technically, I have only R2s and my main, a cleric who is on the cusp of R3, so I assume R4 is the highest I can have any of them being, with maybe R5 for the cleric. Also, that cleric, in this story, has a White Dragon. I will eventually put up a thread with important sequences from my character's lives, including how each of their pets met up with them. I intend to try and get into detail with certain events. But rough summaries will be attached to their profiles. And I'm almost done making those.

However, does this mean that even a weak character is allowed to use R7 gear?

I may as well mention that White Dragons will only be allowed for the most elite due to their power. Though I may let one person hold a baby white.

Dragoon does not own a dragon he merely transformed into one in the past during a vicious battle and can not repeat it again. Its something he aspires to but can not reach.

The only two other people who will own a dragon are a sub character known as the card master and a demi god (Demi Gods being GM's names). The card master has all the cards, except the 4 cards of legend which he will try to get. Those being Windy Pixie, Forrest Pixie, Astaroth and the Ent. Got to look up again the actual non implemented pets.

Fair enough, allows me to pump my main up to R6 and make her and her dragon aimless wanderers, thusly no threat to Night Mair until the climax of the story, when his plan takes shape and my bishop has no choice but to act. The rest will be R4 at the most, maybe one R5, and I'm currently trying to balance the evo2 pets with the evo1 pets.

I take your lack of response on the gear question to mean that the R4-level characters can use R6 gear but still not be that strong?

Missed the Gear question. Rank 7 gear, being special in appearance will be for, again, elites. Also I have something planned for those armors. Again, I don't want everyone picking elite equipment because they think that they will be more powerful.
But yes you can have any kind of gear but it will be effective as standard. Gear will be like decorative, though you can get it stronger as the story progresses. However a mage can not wear warrior armor (Too heavy for someone who focuses all their time on mental power. Warriors will not be able to wear a lot of mage armor since mage armor will have extra power imbued with them in order for them to be any good at protection, power which a warrior not trained mentally could not understand or control.
For example, I chose not to use my R4 Robe for Knightmair. Looks ugly. Though he may wear it on occasion. Instead he wears the R3 asura robe which I think looks cooler. While my Knightmair is R4 in game, in story he may not strictly be at that power lv. After all he is the Antagonist.
Dragoon will be wearing cheap armor. Since he is rejected and can't make much money, jobs or respect. Would not matter if the game character was R6, the character is a bum.
I will merely put restriction on everyone saying I am epicly powerful and can ruin the story, they all have their strengths and weaknesses, even Knightmair does (And it's not Kryptonite.) The Psyren story does show off Knightmair as being all powerful but he has his flaws, which have been written up. That story was written up as a introduction of the two antagonists.

Also there will be other antagonists. The Witch will be returning, already have her reincarnation done, and the seekers who will be seeking out the Witch.

Then only my bishop would even be wielding R7 gear, and since a certain R6 staff looks better on her with an evo3 dragon then any of the identical R7 sticks, she'll be using that instead, along with the R4 deva mage robe. She will be using R7 accessories, though. :P So, I just can't use R7 for anyone else. Fair enough.

And other than the dragon, the only rare pet in my roster is a Gnoll. The rest are commons or excommons. Still working out who will be evo1 and who will be evo2 for balancing purposes.

Speaking of pets, I am operating under the assumption that the pets listed below are capable of speech.

White Dragon - Smartest self-aware creature still considered an animal. They're usually able to speak.
Gnoll - The devs haven't said otherwise.
Pixies - They're fairies. They can talk.
Orc - They can speak. Nuff said.
Yeti - They would have to learn first, but I can see them being able to speak.
Salamander - Again, they would have to learn, but I can see them being able to talk.

I have been discussing talking pets with a friend and the idea at the moment is that most, intelligent or human like pets can speak their own different languages, usually clan languages, either people learn those different languages or a few creatures learn to speak English.

Dragons are a definite yes to speaking but only when they have matured and understand speech in general, like I was saying before whoever starts with the baby white dragon, that dragon being to young to understand complex speech will not be able to talk.
However, a human that has a bond with a creature will be able to understand each other, no matter how they talk. As you saw between Psyren and Knight. Though Knight has learned a few of the languages of beasts he does not know them all.
The Siren language is not spoken through words but through emotions. Each siren clan will have its own call, like different wolf packs have their own howl. If you can understand how they sound and the emotions behind it, you can understand what the siren is saying. But Knightmair also has a bond with Psyren so he can understand her even if he did not know the language. So the Mew is not the language, but the emotions felt through the sound or song is what the language is.

Creatures that can speak, though usually their own language.

Adult or adolescent Dragons: Can learn many languages as they grow more intelligent.
Koala: only english, live close to human civilizations.
Angels: divine language (Includes gods and demi can not be reproduced by humans), origin
Kenta: Clan based. So many languages as each clan is different. Often Kenta clans fight.
Gnol: same as above but their language is based mainly on the hunt and war.
Pixies: human and a pixie based language. Can learn others.
Hawkmen: Avian language, birds of prey as small birds are to inferior to them, few of them know English.
Orcs: limited.
Sirens: Emotions speak, Only the more seductive and powerful ones can give the illusion of speaking English, their emotions are spoken so powerfully that the people they are talking to/ seducing think that they are speaking to them in English, but most of the times they will speak as they would normally do in their clan. It is never true English but a slight Empathic/telepathic connection they may make to people. "Mew"

Keep questions coming and I will try and answer then when I can, that way there is also a basis for the world for people to see.

No love for orcs? Geez... my Evoker's orc comes from an intelligent tribe that is peaceful and allied with the Hawkmen. But again, my Bishop is starting with an evo3 dragon because she's not going to be getting involved in stopping Knight Mair until the very end, so she'll have a talking companion.

Also, my three pet class people have their two dual summoned pets (I assume Dual Summon has no time limit in this RP), but is it alright for them to each eventually gather three more pets for their formation? And is there a limit to how many pets can be summoned, like in the game?

There will be no time limit on summons, but the number you can control is due to experience. That's one or two. More than that is too much of a mental strain on the bonds and thus you loose control over the creatures. Not all pets will be bound by cards though. Psyren and Knightmair are together on mutual grounds, they trust each other and can work together with a bond that has been formed by their meeting. Most bonds, and I mean most, will be bonds using cards to connect the two. The Dragoon will be using cards to connect. If a card is broken then the creature can grow wild and independent.

Most of my cast's pets consented to being sealed into cards, so that won't be an issue. And I figured no more than two. Fair enough.

I think I'm almost ready to post the profiles. Still doing some tweaking. All the common pets are evo2, while the Gnoll and excommons are all evo1, with the Bishop's dragon being the only evo3.

You're not opposed to a little romance in the plot, are you? Also, while I suck at planning, once I'm given a plot to work with, I'm a master storyteller. I'm willing to help you out with things if you get swamped IRL.
