Here is the sneak peek of our upcoming EPIC 8 PART 3



Inventory Renewal

- Number of slots increased from 42 to 81.

- Item arrange function of inventory improved to search the item easily

Soul Taming: Middle Boss / Boss

- Bosses will be available for taming. (Unique level)

- Unlike basic and rare creatures, unique soul creatures can learn additional skills at level 150 and 155.

- 19 unique creatures, 5 special creatures and 14 rare creatures are added.

- The unique soul taming card can be dropped only in 4 NEW MC dungeon.

Daily Quest

- Daily quests will be simple and easy. After finishing the quest, player will receive untradeable special coin

- When player collects several coins, he can talk to NPC and exchange it to various items or a title.

Renewal of 4 Dungeons

Characteristics of each level

1 level

Monster stats and experience are reduced greatly

Single play is easy and dungeon can be finished easily

This level is made for beginners



2 level

Monster stats and experience are reduced for 50%

Difficult for single play because of using summon skill.

Main purpose is to make players, who got experience in 1 level, join parties for this level



3 level

Monster stats and experience are reduced a little bit

Single play is impossible. It is more difficult than party play in level 2.

Dungeon for trying to get good definite rewards.



4 level

Monster stats and experience is increased

Very difficult dungeon comparing to existing dungeons

Dungeon for core players who will try this dungeons continuously

O well bosses will be overoverover camped when this coems out I guess(if the're still players left after 3months)

Dibs on Abhuva...Yay boss camping.

I can only dread what further resources the game is going to require next epic. There are already XP machines that still can not run the game since epic 8.1

Well yeah that OS is 12 years old :?
I'm glad the big games like the one dice is launching soon are not able to run on xp, maybe it'll make more people leave that old OS behind :mrgreen: (
Don't throw usage charts at me because the majority of XP users comes from schools and companies :D

But the dice story is Dx related, I'm guessing the problem you're talking about is gameguard related? :(

First of all, I haven't seen anything of this on KTS o.o which is why I was shocked yesterday to see this news on the ph website.


And wow, bosses as pets? As if we are playing on a private server with some ridiculous custom pets ._.
They're also so insanely big, like twice the size of death tyrants O_O

And bosscamping is also something that came up in my mind
Ursa and the roaming bosses are the only ones not going to be camped hardcore (Assuming the droprate to be just as low as tier6 cards - Don't forget ~80-90% of tier6 cards we have in the game atm comes from the altar)

But everyone would want a primal scream or aurumis ._. so goodluck getting one of those :D

regarding the 4 'levels' of dungeons at the end... i sure hope the droprate is increased with each higher level, else I know where I'll be going.. and the rest of the server with me :|

And BTW, new more powerfull pets every epic is basic rule here.

There havent been any Epic 8.3 patchnotes on the korean website that's why I was also shocked to read this stuff on Eaglegames

I dunno about you guys but im majorly excited again, i just hope the do something with the pets to balance out rapid fire, its a good skill for pve, but the damage in pvp is just [provolone] up. As for basement i think that this is a good idea because no one uses basement atm, i dislike it for the damn witches! But making it more challenge based, means i can solo with ease and make some money, but imagine the boss camping to tame these unique pets. I hope that d3 isnt introduced at least until they balance out a bit more.

Looking forward to reading the korean patch notes! Hope the bug fixes get sorted, i cant deal with another year of magic closes or high ram use.....

that isnt even half the hell that is coming. lets just say mages are a thing the past and the templars are the gods now :D

I was told some of this stuff by a PH GM, some of the stuff is in PDFs from the devs. They will be posting more soon.

Well this looks good... ^^

As for the ominous d3: I hope we'll never get it. PH servers can keep it as CS items, idgaf about them anyway, but I don't want to see that happen here...

... and I rly want some basement gear... so maybe the next epic will get me that.

MC D3 equips will make the game even more unbalanced than it already is.

TY webzen for the info. This is the thing i love most about you (probably the only thing for starters, but there's still time for more room), that you keep the players updated no matter if the news are bad or good.
Only thing i pray it won't happen is the coming of d3. All the dura enchantment ever did was make game unbalanced.

Corsola, open inventory and see how many slots you can see without scrolling up and down. Those are increased, which means the inventory UI will be bigger on the slots part so you can see your items better.
Also about taming bosses, they will surely implement summon scrolls to help taming. Same thing like with 8.1 pets (drill, undine, ogre, mino, baphomet). Surely most people would still camp those bosses but its not like most of them would stay afk in 1 spot for days to have 1 try at taming every hour.
