Master Class Quest Guide (Warning: lots of images to load)

A Quick graphical Guide/Walk-through for the Epic 7 Part 3: Master Class quests

Level requirements for starting this quest line: ~148
Pre-requisites for quest: All the related "Witch Quest" quest chains
- First set of witch quests, for levels 50,70+ (-> guide link here <-)
- Second set of witch quests, for levels 138++ (-> guide link here <-)

Known Bugs:
* Sometimes, especially platform 4 completing all the quests may not reward the player with enough points to finish the platform. If this happens, you will need to drop the quest and re-take it from the NPC on the main platforms.

Things to note:
* For the "side quests" on each platform: you will need a crystal item that Hero Hector gave you early on in the quest.
* To access these side quests: use the cube to the north or south of the respective area's main platform (Warrior, Mage, Summoner, Hunter) to access randomly assigned side rooms, where you need to complete the quests to get points.
* (This appears to no longer work as of the 22nd Nov maintenance patch: 2 points may be the maximum now per quest) If you finish these quests fast enough you may be rewarded with 5 points, 2 for an average speed or 1 at worst (fail = nothing). Upon finishing quest, return to the platform using the cube in the room.
* To start the quest: talk to the room's NPC Trail Assistant, accept quest (crystal must not be on cool-down), double click on the crystal in inventory and step onto the glowing pink circle(s) in the room to activate the quest.

Extra information:
* If you use the crystal while already on a pink glowing circle, the quest may bug and require you to drop and retake to spawn the mobs/start the quest scripts.
* Some quests where you are required to kill a certain monster/boss or number of mobs only count the kill if the person with the quest lands the last hit. Some Quests may be shareable.
* In rooms where multiple monsters are spawned, it is highly advisable to have a little patience if there is someone else, or a crowd already there. Having multiple active quests in a room may lead to a room of dead players.

Quest Start:
Hero Hector at Horizen's Dead Spirit's Altar.
Talk to Hero Hector, Start the Delving Deeper quest.

Complete then quest, take The Trial Chamber quest (upon accepting you will be teleported to the new dungeon).

After teleporting, you should end up at the Master Trial Foyer. Find the NPC Trial Assistant and get the Step One... quest.

After completing the quest, head east (left) to find a small cube on the ground. Use the cube to teleport to the Warrior Platform, where another Trial Assistant NPC will present you with a new quest empty string : 80003281 [sic]

This quest requires that you complete other side-quests in the Warrior section of the quest until you have accumulated enough points from side quests to continue.

Warrior Section
Here is a partial(?) list of the side quests for the warrior section with image links etc:
* empty string : 80003293
- Find the unique Marduka monster among the pack and defeat him: -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* Defeat Abhuva!

* empty string : 80003292
- Interact with spawned light pillars before the timer runs out: -> click here for image <-
* empty string : 80003298
- Spawn one of two types of knights (high damage or high defense) and kill a certain number: -> click here for image <- (Not Share-able: players must each land the last hit and make the kill for the number of mobs required)
* Cleanup
- Defeat the witch: -> click here for image <-
* empty string : 80003293
-> click here for image <-
* empty string : 80003299
- Choose (or guess) the right answer: -> click here for image <-

After collecting enough points to complete the empty string : 80003281 quest, return to the Warrior Platform and turn in the quest. Pick your reward (glove).

Head to the next platform using the eastern cube (left on map) to the Magician Platform. Collect the new points quest [Master]Zone of magician from the Trial Assistant.

This quest requires that you complete other side-quests in the Magician section of the quest until you have accumulated enough points from side quests to continue.

Magician Section
Here is a partial(?) list of the side quests for the magician section with image links etc:
* Breaking Rocks
- Defeat a rock golem with a lot of HP within the time limit. This golem does not fight back: -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest? if within the same party)
* Pillar Pilfering
- Interact with the spawned light pillars before the timer runs out: -> click here for image <-
* Defeat Betrayl
-> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* [Master]Trial : Zone of magician
- Interact with the spawned light pillars before the timer runs out: -> click here for image <-
* Zombies!
- Defeat the zombie monsters in the room without getting killed. These zombies have the potential to 1-hit kill most players, so ranged attacks would be advised. Alternatively, use the supplied petrify scrolls on the zombie(s): -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* Disguises...
- Choose (or guess) the right answer: -> click here for image <-
* (Collect 4 cubes within the time limit)
- Collect a certain number of cubes on the ground within a set time limit.

After collecting enough points to complete the [Master]Zone of magician quest, return to the Magician Platform and turn in the quest. Pick your reward (boots).

Head for the next platform to the Hunter Platform. Collect the new points quest [Master]Zone of hunter from the Trial Assistant.

This quest requires that you complete other side-quests in the Hunter section of the quest until you have accumulated enough points from side quests to continue.

Hunter Section
Here is a partial(?) list of the side quests for the hunter section with image links etc:
* Catch a Tiger by the Toe
- Find the unique Marduka monster among the pack and defeat him: -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* Leos!
- Don't let the cuteness of these Leos distract or deceive you! They are as lethal if not more, than those Zombies earlier: -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* Octopi!
- Defeat enough spawned Octupi within the time limit: -> click here for image <- (Share-able? quest if within the same party)
* Makrul!
- Defeat the spawned marduka boss within the time limit: -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* Picking Pillars
- Interact with spawned light pillars before the timer runs out: -> click here for image <-
* Sealed Magic Essence
- Choose (or guess) the right answer: -> click here for image <-
* [Master]Trial : Zone of hunter (Two quests here in sequence)
- Interact with the spawned light pillars before the timer runs out: -> click here for image <-
- Second quest here is a repetition of the first, but 24 lights instead of 12 are spawned and you need to get them all: -> click here for image <-
* Failed Experiments
- Defeat the Master Witch within the time limit: -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* (Defeat Silex within the time limit, does not hit back)
- Defeat the spawned Silex (high HP, doesn't hit players) within the time limit. (might be from a different platform, this quest?) (Not Share-able: players must each land the last hit and make the kill for the boss)

After collecting enough points to complete the [Master]Zone of hunter quest, return to the Hunter Platform and turn in the quest. Reward: belt.

Head for the next platform to the Summoner Platform. Collect the new points quest [Master]Zone of summoner from the Trial Assistant.

Summoner Section
Note: The monsters on the summoner platform all have a red name, and will instantly "aggro" any nearby player. Ranged + high level monsters may result in player deaths, especially when teleporting via the cube.

Here is a partial(?) list of the side quests for the summoner section with image links etc:
* The Maze
- Navigate a "maze" and find the two light pillars in the room within the time limit. Players can run through the spawned walls, but will be stunned for a lengthy duration if you click on and interact with the wall(s): -> click here for image <-
* Witch Assult
- Defeat 4 Master Witches. This quest could well be too hard to solo for most players, so forming a small party before starting is highly advisable: -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* Wild Wild Witch
- Defeat the Master Witch: -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* [Master]Trial : Zone of summoner
- Defeat the summoned Aurumis: -> click here for image <-
* Choose Wisely
- Spawn one of two types of knights (high damage on left or high defense on right) and kill a certain number: -> click here for image <-
* [Master]Trail : Zone of summoner
- Defeat the Master Marduka within the time limit: -> click here for image <- (Share-able quest if within the same party)
* (Defeating 2 bosses, with a special pre-requisite)
- There is a room which resembles a room from Navislamina in which the NPC has no "?" above his head. Talking to him allows the player to obtain a quest in this area. However, this particular quest requires that the player has completed every single other platform's quests without missing a single one to trigger the boss spawns.
* (Another kill spawned knights quest)
- Spawn one of two types of knights (high damage or high defense) and kill a certain number within the time limit. (Not Share-able: players must each land the last hit and make the kill for the number of mobs required)

After collecting enough points to complete the [Master]Zone of summoner quest, return to the Summoner Platform and turn in the quest. Choose your reward (timed +10 Master Class helm).

Head for the final platform to the Master Arena. Collect the new points quest Spirits of the Ancients from the Trial Assistant.

Defeat the Master Ghost Numa (careful with the other humanoid monsters) and collect your reward (armor). Collect the new Final Ceremony quest.

Go to the northern section of this platform to find the Abomination Girl, complete the Final Ceremony quest (reward includes a timed new mount).
You should now be able to pick your new Master Class from the Abomination Girl's dialogue, confirm and job change with a server-wide announcement in green text.

Return to Hero Hector

Start on the three new Talent Point quests at your leisure from Hero Hector:

Knew I forgot something but couldn't recall until you replied... (giving credit where its due) =|

Really worn out from rushing these quests, then spending 3 hours sorting through screenshots and writing up the guide (made a mess with the image hosting initially).

The one thing that caught my eye is you are missing the level requirement(s).

Small note, and probably not really relevant, but summoner stage all the mobs are red (aggressive) in the general area (the one which you keep having to go back to)

Vera: Thanks for the reminder about the red name mobs. Updated the guide to reflect the info ^^

Updates to the guide:
* Added Level and quest pre-requisite information
* Added links to the witch quest guides (level 50,70+ and 138+ ones)
* Added information about the possible bugging of points, especially for Platform 4.
* Added a few extra quests that were not present in the initial version of the guide
* Added some extra tips
* Added information for quests that are known to be shareable or not with party members.

Just completed the MC with a few friends and found this guide very useful, mostly just for knowing how many different quests/rooms there are to pop in and out of, so I recommend it highly. Thanks!

Silex is on the hunter platform.
The four cubes is in the magician platform.

After you finally end MC quests, rite after you have 3 more quests for TP... Moobs quests and Mana quest are long but you know you are going to finish, but the trying to made the sword +20 is starting to get annoying.

You guys should fix the success rate%, i've spent probably 150m or more, i've been trying sience the second day MC quest was released, im pretty pissed because all my money wasted in that quest. I hope you do something about it.

Sometimes i cant even make it to +1, thats frustating.
