Bloody Arrow

I've heard a few people say I should max out Bloody Arrow. If I don't run around with soul chips, though, what's the point in maxing it? Is there any benefit for a melee sorc in maxing it out?

nighmare decreases magic defence so nightmare and then bloody arrow. but u will probably want to use soul chips too
